Linda’s recent teaching experience includes a graduate-level conservatory course as faculty in the music theory & analysis department at the Colburn School, guest faculty at the LA Phil's Composer Fellowship Program, teaching assistant for aural skills courses at USC, and lecturer in composition at the University of Auckland, New Zealand.
She has also taught masterclasses and holiday programs in composition, music theory, aural skills and flute at other institutions, elementary, middle and high schools, and private studios.
Guest Faculty/SPEAKER Positions
Alongside joining a faculty in Los Angeles on an adjunct or tenure-track basis, Linda is also available as a guest speaker. Suggested topics include The Psychology of Creative Flow for Composers, Musical Context and Innovations of the past 75 years, an analysis of selected contemporary repertoire, or a presentation of my own music.
